A walk through the Yorkshire Dales seemed like a good opportunity to switch the camera on and talk about where Tough Smudge is heading.
My latest YouTube video follows a circular walk from Malham village to Janet’s Foss, Gordale Scar, the limestone pavement above Malham Cove and back into the village. Along the way there is some scrambling, plenty of Yorkshire scenery and a fairly unscripted Tough Smudge update.
I talk about the bigger goals behind the project, my latest tattoo session, plans for The Smudgery camper van, the events already on the horizon and, perhaps unwisely, just how tempting the Tough Mudder Midlands looks immediately after World’s Toughest Mudder.
It is less of a polished training video and more a snapshot of where things stand right now, what I am working towards and some of the ideas taking shape along the way.
